Description

This solid carbide slotting endmill is used to cut slots for use with the 1/8" SmartVac 3 vacuum gasket. This special endmill also cuts a chamfer at the top of the groove. The smaller slot width puts just enough compression on the gasket to hold it snugly in place.

Dimensions:

Groove depth should be cut to .100" deep.

Shank diameter is .1875".

Chamfer is 45 deg.

Slot width is .118".

3 Flutes, High Helix

250 SFM (8100 RPM recommended)

.001" IPT (24 IPM recommended)

Full Depth of cut

MAXIMUM coolant/air possible for chip evacuation
